Welcome, dark souls and horror enthusiasts, to the Returns & Exchanges policy of Post Mortem Cosplay Shop. Just as we craft each macabre treasure with care, we want your experience with our crypt goods to be equally satisfying. Should any item fail to meet your gothic expectations, our policy below will guide you through the process of returns and exchanges.

THE HAUNTED TIMEFRAME

You have 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return or exchange request. Like spirits that fade with time, this window closes precisely at midnight on the 15th day.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURN TO THE CRYPT

To be eligible for return or exchange, items must meet the following requirements:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition
  • Original tags must be attached
  • Items must be in their original packaging
  • A copy of the original order confirmation must be included

ITEMS THAT CANNOT RETURN FROM THE DEAD

Certain items in our collection are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Fabric Face Masks (for hygiene reasons)
  • Enamel Pins & Buttons (as intimate accessories)
  • Crypt Goods (limited edition and collectible items)
  • Any item marked as “final sale” or “limited edition”
  • Items that show signs of wear or damage not present upon original delivery

THE RITUAL OF RETURN

Follow these steps to initiate your return or exchange:

  1. Summon Our Keepers: Contact our support team at [email protected] within 15 days of delivery
  2. Provide Your Incantation: Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information
  3. Await Our Response: Our crypt keepers will respond within 2-3 business days with a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions
  4. Dispatch Your Package: Ship the item(s) to our haunted mansion at the address provided
  5. Track Your Specter: Keep your shipping tracking number to monitor the journey of your return

THE EXCHANGE CEREMONY

For exchanges, the process mirrors that of returns. Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, we will dispatch your replacement item. If the exchanged item differs in price, we will process the appropriate refund or charge the difference.

THE RETURN OF YOUR TREASURE

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s):

  • Refund Processing: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
  • Refund Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
  • Bank Processing: Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement

SHIPPING COSTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance
  • Post Mortem Cosplay Shop is not responsible for return packages lost in transit
  • For exchanges, we will cover the shipping cost to send your replacement item

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS FROM THE SHADOWS

For our international dark souls (excluding certain parts of Asia and remote regions):

  • You are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes associated with the return
  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to potentially avoid additional customs charges
  • International returns may take longer to process due to customs and shipping times
